Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is the name of a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She's professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be spelled as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from musicians and music blogs as well as the media. She has previously recorded two highly-regarded covers Half the World Away by the group Oasis in a commercial for Christmas from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. It was further recognized thanks to a Facebook post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the track Runaway. Honor her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical experiences include discovering an old piano that was hidden away in the attic of her home, and discovering the music that it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes urged Aurora Aksnes to pursue music as an activity or as a profession. The singer began to write her own songs. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. When she was told by her mother that her music could aid in her gaining not only fame but also help everyone else see their value in the world and realize the possibilities for them, she decided to make a public debut. She began playing the piano when she was just six years old, then began creating music when she was nine. It wasn't until she was 14 when she shared her story with her parents. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. As she says, she simply is a fan of writing songs. Music to her is the most effective way to experience any emotion.
